Neil Lyons is a corporate refugee, having
enjoyed a 14 year career in one of America’s most successful technology &
networking companies where he retired as a senior team leader. His highly
developed technical expertise, coupled with innate personality traits in
areas like communication, leadership, financial savvy and “good humor” make
him perfectly suited to thrive in residential real estate. In his new
career with Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate, he is eager to assist his clients
with the careful selection of a new home, helping them analyzing all facets
of their options and choices.
Neil and his wife, Sherry, first fell in
love with Arizona on vacation in 1994. In 2000 they built a home in
SunRidge Canyon, but did not become residents until 2007. Neil’s real
estate career began years before he was officially licensed, however, as he
and Sherry hold substantial real estate investments in Arizona and Georgia,
where his corporate career took him for a time. He and Sherry were
long-time residents of Chicago, IL after Neil’s earlier US Naval career.
“I have a great deal of empathy and
understanding for those facing life-changing decisions.” Says Neil, of his
experience of moving to Arizona and a new career. “Sherry and I have been
blessed to be able to take advantage of the opportunities of our corporate
years, but the transition was fraught with numerous choices and options that
each provided their own level of difficulty, strategy, benefit and cost.
Having survived the process—while still maintaining and managing our real
estate assets—I can make some very educated and informed recommendations to
those facing the same challenges.”
Today,
they are happy to make their full-time residence here in Fountain Hills,
where their son Thor and his family also reside. The entire family
cherishes the two youngest Lyons, granddaughters Brooke and Hailey. In
addition to eagerly pursuing his new career, Neil is also enjoying the
opportunity to play golf, ride bicycles, cruise on motorcycles and drive
classic cars, of which he recently expanded his collection! |
